Motion design for an installation, projection or location-based experience (not necessarily interactive)

Project Description

The WB Abu Dhabi transports guests into a world where every moment is infused with Warner Bros.’ legacy of films, show, comics, and more. Throughout, guests will discover something never-seen-before.

Large digital displays are blended into the fabric of the hotel’s architecture – featuring thirty- five originally crafted films – inspired by WB stories and characters.

In total, we created over 80 minutes of brand new, original content using various animation techniques and styles.

Beloved characters Scooby-Doo, Bugs & Daffy, Tom & Jerry, Looney Tunes, The Flintstones, and Iron Giant, are brought to life through entirely new 2D cel animation.

A mixture of illustration, 2D, and 3D animation showcases classic hits including Lord of the Rings, Casablanca, Wizard of Oz, and Blade Runner.

And a combination of stylized 3D, sculpted tableaus, and photoreal animation pays tribute to iconic characters including Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman and creators such as Nolan, Kubrick, and Cuaron.
