The European Independent Film Festival is an annual international film festival dedicated to independent cinema. Held in Paris, France, it was created in 2006 by Scott Hillier. ÉCU has expressly established itself and is often referred to as the Sundance of Europe. The rebranding concept conveys creativity and innovation with ÉCU’s original official selection of film footage in rectangle frames, which echos its animated logo. Typography will be a mixture of modern serif and script in the foreground to communicate these bold and visionary independent filmmakers’ stories’ uniqueness and beauty.
