We created a brand-new vision for the Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival (TGHFF), one of the most prestigious Asian film festivals.
During the pandemic, humans began to reflect upon the definition of distance while refocusing our life goals. For this project, the visual system was built to resonate with the public.
In the 23 nomination films, the theme of refocusing was constructed with more than 40 experimental ways of shooting.
We blurred the boundaries between live action and animation by experimenting with various objects and physical phenomena, such as concave-convex mirrors, transparent octagonal jars, sound waves and magnetic fluids, creating a visual experience in-between reality and virtuality.
